Terms of Service
Last updated: July 21, 2026
These terms govern your use of SpeakSwap. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and only with content you are allowed to process.
Using SpeakSwap
SpeakSwap provides tools for dubbing, transcription, subtitle translation, text-to-speech, voice cloning, and vocal removal. You are responsible for the content you submit and how you use the results.
You must be able to form a binding agreement and comply with all laws that apply to your use of SpeakSwap.
Accounts and access
You are responsible for keeping your account secure. If you use Google, Facebook, or another login provider, your access also depends on that provider.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if we believe an account is abusing the service, violating these terms, creating security risk, or causing harm to other users or systems.
Content rights
You retain ownership of content you submit and results generated for you. You grant SpeakSwap the limited rights needed to process, store, deliver, debug, and secure your jobs.
You must not submit content that infringes someone else’s rights or violates privacy, publicity, contract, platform, or intellectual property rules.
Prohibited use
Do not use SpeakSwap for unlawful, deceptive, harmful, abusive, harassing, impersonating, or exploitative activity.
Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, payment systems, bot protection, security controls, or access controls. Do not upload malware or use automated traffic that degrades the service.
AI and generated output
AI-generated transcripts, translations, voices, subtitles, and audio may contain errors. Review outputs before relying on them, publishing them, or using them commercially.
SpeakSwap does not guarantee that generated output is accurate, rights-cleared, or suitable for a specific purpose.
Disclaimers and limits
SpeakSwap is provided as-is and as-available. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free processing, or preservation of every uploaded or generated file forever.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, SpeakSwap is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
Credits, expiration, and payments
SpeakSwap may charge credits or fees for tool usage. Prices, credit amounts, usage rates, included features, and supported tools may change over time. Taxes, currency conversion, and payment-provider charges may also apply where disclosed.
Paid pay-as-you-go credits do not currently have a scheduled expiration. Free, promotional, trial, bonus, subscription, or other credits may expire as disclosed when they are issued.
We may introduce or change credit-expiration rules in the future. New rules will apply prospectively to credits purchased, renewed, or issued after the stated effective date unless the law permits another approach. We will disclose material expiration terms before purchase or renewal and provide notice where required by law.
Payments may be processed by Stripe or another payment provider. Your payment is also subject to the provider terms shown during checkout.
Refunds for credit packs
Except where required by law, credit-pack purchases are final and non-refundable. We may choose to review an exceptional refund request, but we are not required to approve it.
A discretionary refund is eligible for review only if no credits have been used from the account after the relevant payment. To submit a request, contact us and complete the account, transaction, and refund questions we provide. We will not evaluate the request until the required information is complete. Meeting the eligibility conditions does not guarantee a refund.
Where permitted by law, an approved discretionary refund will be reduced by payment-processor fees, network fees, currency-conversion costs, and similar transaction costs that are not returned to SpeakSwap. Refunds are returned through the original payment method when available.
Subscriptions and cancellation
If SpeakSwap offers a subscription, the checkout page will disclose its price, billing frequency, included credits or usage, renewal terms, and any credit-expiration or rollover rules. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
You may cancel a subscription to stop future renewals using the cancellation method made available for that subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless the checkout terms or applicable law say otherwise. Using credits does not prevent you from stopping a future renewal.
Cancellation does not by itself refund the current billing period. Except where required by law, a discretionary refund for a subscription charge is eligible for review only if no credits have been used from the account after that charge. The refund-request process, review conditions, and permitted fee deductions described above also apply.
Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or replaces a refund, cancellation, withdrawal, warranty, or other consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived in your country or region. Where these terms conflict with a mandatory legal right, that legal right controls.
Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes to payment, subscription, refund, or credit-expiration terms will operate prospectively from the stated effective date, and we will provide advance notice where required by law.
By continuing to use SpeakSwap after updated terms take effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service and cancel any future subscription renewal before the next charge.
