SPEAKSWAP

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 25, 2026

This policy explains what information SpeakSwap collects when you use our audio and video tools, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

We collect account information such as your email address, authentication provider, and basic profile information returned by login providers such as Google or Facebook.

When you use SpeakSwap, we process the URLs, uploaded files, job settings, generated transcripts, translations, audio, subtitles, and related job metadata needed to provide the requested tool.

If you buy credits, payment details are processed by Stripe. SpeakSwap receives payment status, purchase amount, customer email, and related transaction identifiers, but we do not store full card numbers.

If you contact us or send feedback, we collect the message, optional email address, rating, technical request metadata, and abuse-prevention signals such as reCAPTCHA results.

How we use information

We use information to create and secure accounts, run the tools you request, deliver job results, process purchases, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and improve reliability.

We may use aggregate and diagnostic information to understand product usage, conversion, errors, and performance. We do not sell personal information.

Session attribution

To measure whether a page leads to signup, tool use, or a purchase, SpeakSwap creates a random attribution ID for the browser session. A limited browser backup is eligible for reuse for one hour so the ID can survive sign-in or checkout redirects. If a redirect is abandoned, the stale backup can remain until SpeakSwap next reads and deletes it or you clear browser storage.

After signup or product use, the ID may be stored with account, job, purchase, and analytics events so we can measure aggregate conversion. It does not affect access, pricing, or credits.

The current session attribution format can include a page path without query strings, an article slug, a referrer domain, a locale, and sanitized campaign labels. It is designed not to include your email address, IP address, full page URL, uploaded content, or payment details. Older signup diagnostics may retain a page URL captured under the previous format; SpeakSwap no longer adds that field and removes it when that signup attribution record is next updated.

Service providers

SpeakSwap uses trusted providers to operate the service, including infrastructure, database, file storage, payment, bot-prevention, analytics, and authentication providers.

These providers may include Supabase, Cloudflare, Modal, Stripe, Google reCAPTCHA, Google OAuth, Meta/Facebook OAuth, and analytics tools. They process information only as needed to provide their services to SpeakSwap.

Your content

You keep ownership of the files, URLs, and content you submit. You give SpeakSwap permission to process that content only so we can provide the requested tool, store results, troubleshoot failures, and protect the service.

Do not upload content unless you have the rights and permissions needed to process it with SpeakSwap.

Retention and deletion

We keep account, job, contact, and payment records only as long as needed for the service, legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, support, and accounting.

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by following the instructions on our Data Deletion page.

Security

We use access controls, HTTPS, provider-side security controls, and abuse-prevention systems to protect the service. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.

If you believe your account or data may be at risk, contact us immediately at [email protected].

Changes

We may update this policy as SpeakSwap changes. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to make the update visible.
